Gary L. Novotny has spent nearly 50 years in the men’s clothing industry. He founded Gary Michael’s Clothiers in Hastings in 1983 and expanded to Lincoln in 1993, where he hired Nathen Rutt, who would become an integral part of the business for more than 30 years. Fabian Rene Fury joined the team in 2022, bringing additional experience and passion for exceptional menswear and customer service.
In September 2025, Nathen officially assumed ownership of Gary Michael’s Clothiers in Lincoln, continuing the tradition of personalized service, quality fashion, and attention to detail that Gary established decades ago. Together, Nathen and Fabian remain committed to providing Lincoln with world-class style and an outstanding customer experience.
While no longer involved in the day-to-day ownership of the business, Gary still works in the store a few days each week. Customers who would like to work with Gary are encouraged to call the store to schedule an appointment.
